Ficus is a diverse genus of tropical trees and shrubs known for structural drama. Iconic varieties include the paddle-leaved Fiddle Leaf Fig, and the moody, dark-foliaged Rubber Tree, which bleeds a thick, milky white sap when pruned. Demands bright, indirect sunlight. It will drop leaves if too dim. Water when the top 2 inches of soil dry. These plants hates soggy roots and thrive best with higher humidity (50%+). Ficus plants are notorious creatures of habit. Ficus' hate being moved or exposed to drafts, and will dramatically drop their leaves in protest when relocated.
