Spider Plants (Chlorophytum comosum) NASA top choice for air purification, are a popular, classic houseplant known for their arching, ribbon-like leaves. They're famous for producing cascading runners topped with tiny white flowers that quickly mature into miniature "spiderettes," which can be easily snipped and propagated. Thrive in bright to medium indirect sunlight, but tolerates lower light. Allow top 2 inches of soil dry out between waterings. Adaptable to average indoor humidity. Cats are obsessed with spider plants as they contain mild hallucinogenic compounds.
