Syngonium podophyllum, commonly known as the arrowhead plant or arrowhead vine, is a popular evergreen houseplant native to tropical rainforests in Central and South America. It is primarily grown for its attractive, variable foliage and is known for its air-purifying qualities. Leaves change shape as the plant matures. Young leaves are typically heart or arrowhead-shaped, while mature leaves become lobed, often with 5-11 separate leaflets. The leaves come in various shades of green, white, cream, and pink depending on the cultivar.  This plant can be grown as a climber with a support pole or pruned to encourage bushy growth.
