The Monstera Peru (Monstera karstenianum)  a rare and highly collector sought tropical evergreen native to Amazon rainforest of Central and South America, is a unique houseplant with thick, textured, and glossy leaves.  Unlike its cousins Monstera deliciosa or Monstera adansonii, its thick, dark green leaves are heavily textured and do not develop holes or fenestrations. It is a hardy, epiphytic plant that thrives in bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. It's a fast-growing, climbing plant requires bright, indirect light, consistently moist but well-draining soil, and warm, humid conditions. For best growth, provide a moss pole or trellis for climbing and use a well-aerated potting mix.  This plant is toxic to children and pets.
