Schefflera Arboricola (Heptapleurum actinophyllum) is a tree in the family Araliaceae. It is native to tropical rainforests and gallery forests in northern and northeastern Queensland coasts and the Northern Territory of Australia, as well as New Guinea and Java. Also known as 'Umbrella Plant' this green companion is a fun and unique houseplant featuring dramatic oval-shaped leaves with pointy tips, which are found in circular groups of 5-9 leaves. This is an easy going plant, great for beginners.

Sunlight 6+ hours of bright DIRECT sunlight. This plant is sun loving. It tolerates partial to low light conditions, but will not thrive.
Water Prefer slightly moist soil. Allow to dry out between waterings. Avoid overwatering as this plant is easily susceptible to root rot.
