The Coffee Plant, with its glossy green leaves and compact growth habit, makes an unexpectedly excellent potted indoor plant. The remaining coffee production is primarily made up of coffee produced from the less acidic, more bitter, and highly caffeinated robusta bean (C. canephora).
The natural populations of Coffea arabica are confined to the forests of South Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Yemen.
