Native to Tanzania and adjacent southeastern Kenya in eastern tropical Africa, this beauty is a compact, low-growing, flowering plant with velvety leaves. African violet is available in many different flower colors, petal shapes, and sizes. If given the correct conditions, it will bloom all year long. The flower clusters of the African violet will last from three to six weeks.

Sunlight 3 - 6 hours of bright INDIRECT sunlight. East or south facing is best. These plants are sensitive to direct sunlight; too much sun will burn your plant’s leaves.
The brighter the lighting the more your plant will thrive. It will tolerate low light levels, but expect slower, more leggy growth with smaller leaves,
Water Prefer moist, NOT SOGGY, well drained soil. Let soil partially dry before watering it again. Be careful not wet velvety leaves, especially when watering this plant.
